Members of Abundant Life Worship Center in Tyrone recently welcomed their new youth pastor, Kyle Amerson, and his wife, Michelle, who will be developing the church’s youth program as well as working with and developing new children’s ministry areas.

“I am very excited to have Kyle and Michelle here,” said Abundant Life’s pastor, Calvin Smith.

Amerson received his degree in youth ministry Dec. 17, 2005, from Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn. He and his wife moved to the Fayette area after receiving the position at Abundant Life.

“I am very excited to see what God has in store for this youth group as we grow not only in numbers but spiritually as well,” Amerson said.

Youth in the area who do not have a church home are encouraged to attend youth group meetings each Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at Abundant Life.

The worship center is on Ga. Hwy. 74 North, near the Fulton County line.
