Liturgical Ministers
Several individuals completed specialized training and were installed as licensed liturgical ministers (LLMs) at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church.

LLMs are laypersons who have received a license from the diocese to take Holy Eucharist, or communion, to the sick, the dying, and the homebound. They also are authorized to serve as chalice bearers or “servers of the wine” during principal services of the church.

Those being installed included James Gardner of Tyrone, James Statzer of Newnan, and Jeane McGee of Peachtree City.

The classes were taught by Father David Monroe, canon liturgist of the Diocese of Georgia, and rector of Church of the Holy Trinity in Smyrna.

The new LLMs received a special pectoral cross and a certificate of license from the church’s pastor, Father David Epps. Overseer of the LLM ministry is Deacon Jerome De Leo of Newnan. The church is on Ga. Hwy. 34 between Peachtree City and Newnan.
