The Atlanta Business Chronicle named Southwest Christian Care, located in Union City, as one of three finalists for TechBridge’s Technology Innovation Award. TechBridge’s Technology Innovation Award is presented to the nonprofit that demonstrates the most effective and innovative use of technology in one or more of the following areas: advancing its mission, increasing the efficiency of its day-to-day operations, improving its effectiveness in serving clients and key stakeholders, and increasing its fundraising, advocacy or volunteer efforts.

Southwest Christian Care is dedicated to providing the highest quality care and support for terminally ill patients, children with special needs, seniors in the early stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia, spiritual care and support all these clients’ families.

The services provided to their patients, constituents and their families are provided no cost. Because all services are provided at no cost to the patients or their families, Southwest Christian Care depends on the generous gifts of individuals, churches, civic groups, corporations, businesses and foundations. The annual benefit dinner and auction gala is the largest of the ministry’s fund-raising events.

In order to more efficiently and effectively manage the banquet and auction, Southwest Christian Care implemented a software programs called Auction Maestro Pro and qCheck. This software allows more efficient use of the staff and volunteers’ time. This software also improves the effectiveness in how donors register and check out at the banquet and auction.
