On Saturday, May 24, Quail Ridge Farm will play host to a Memorial Day Show. The Memorial Day Show, a one day show, is open to the public at no charge for admission.

The show itself is a hunter/jumper schooling show for the beginner to advanced rider. The first class of the day, Lead Line begins at 9 a.m. with most of the riders ranging in age from 3 to 7. Later in the day, intermediate classes consist of more experienced and older riders. However, intermediate riders range in age from 5 to 61.

The horse show is the perfect opportunity to for the whole family to enjoy a safe, fun outing. There will be concessions provided by the Knights of Columbus, Newnan Chapter and local tack shops on hand for equestrian supplies. Although visitors may pet and spend time with the horses and some of their owners, we ask that you refrain from feeding the horses your fingers.

The farm itself is smoke-free in its entirety. No outside coolers or glass containers are permitted.

For additional information on future shows, or a prize list, please contact Scott Armour or Payne Nash at 770-502-1936 or visit www.quail-ridgefarm.com. The next show is the fall show on October 11.
