The Coweta-Fayette Rotary Club visited Line Creek Nature Area on Monday, May 5, in an evening that combined a Cinco de Mayo-themed supper, program by Southern Conservation Trust’s director Abby Jordan and the creek visit. In addition to weekly programs and an already award-winning list of benevolent activities, the new and active club notes that they also have a lot of good times. Weekly meetings are 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Peachtree City Tennis Center grill. For more information, call club PR director, Jim Qualls, at 678-283-8385. Also visit the club’s website at www.clubrunner.ca/Coweta-Fayette. The club’s first annual Car Show is scheduled for June 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Drake Field at Lake Peachtree in Peachtree City. Owners of vintage cars of all types are invited. Call Jim Qualls for more information if you want to enter your car in the show
