A Cat Got Shot
We can watch several million killed for us to eat,
But they are not kitties that do not compete.
It is the same in all of animaldom,
We can say with great aplomb.
It is the unfamiliar and lack of need,
That excites our fears and our creed.
Saddam can execute thousands for treason,
We then shock and awe him for a whole season.
After all we lost great towers and helpless life,
From what he caused by his strife!
Many kitties were extincted by the shock from on high,
But never the less mission accomplished we did sigh.
Now the kitties, human and other, Scrounge for food and care without bother.
When they don't have the birds that can reach us,
We can always show them how without much fuss.
Depending upon bombs and planes,
With few warriors to organize the sane,
Has made the killing of kitties a game.
