Gary Lee Brown, 53, Luthersville, died April 30, 2008. He was born Oct. 2, 1954 one of seven children. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Moye Brown. He was a gregarious man, fun loving and tender hearted. He had a streak of the mischievous and loved playing a trick on someone. He loved the outdoors whether it involved his profession as a contractor, panning for gold or searching for prized arrowheads. Services were at the McKoon Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Melanie Stanley-Sulen and the Rev. Richard Campbell officiating. Interment was at the Luthersville Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Beckham Brown; children, Matthew Brown, and Emily Brown, both of Luthersville; his mother, Betty Robertson Brown; siblings, Ron Brown, Kristin Murray, and Lory Anderson, all of Luthersville, Patsy Foy, Deerfield Beach, Fla., David Brown, and Beth Schallenberger, both of Pompano Beach, Fla. Memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
