Peter John Lohmann, 63, Peachtree City, died May 1, 2008 from congestive heart failure. He was born Jan. 30, 1945 in New York City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Margaret Reinke Lohmann, and a brother, Walter Jaros. He was graduated from Westwood High School, Westwood, N. J., and from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He eared his Master's degree from the University of Louisville, Louisville, Ky. He was Director of Human Resources for Playtex Corporation, where he was employed for 25 years. He was a faithful fan of the Tennessee Vols and always enjoyed a rousing round of "Rocky Top." Memorial services were at the McKoon Funeral Home chapel. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Glenda Hammond Lohmann; daughters, Dawn and Martin Shelton, and Lauren McCollum; grandchildren, Madeline Keck, Callen Beall, and Lucas and Ethan Shelton; a brother, Norman and Jane Jaros; father and mother-in-law, Euna and Gene Hammond; brother-in-law, Tom and Carol Hammond; a nephew, Lance Hammond; and nieces, Judy and Rick Monroe, Debbie and Al Smith, and Carrie and Joe Nakanishi.
