On behalf of the Planning Committee of the 2008 Relay For Life of Fayette County, we would like to thank everyone who helped to make this year’s event a great success.

Together we raised over $400,000!

This money will be used to fund services provided by the American Cancer Society free of charge to Fayette County residents, and their families, who are fighting cancer.

It will be used for awareness programs so that our residents can help to protect themselves from cancer and will be used to develop treatments and cures for all types of cancers.

If you were one of the thousands of people who attended Relay either as a cancer survivor, a caregiver, a Relay team member, or just someone who joined us for the night, thank you.

If you participated in a team’s fund-raiser before Relay, thank you.

If you were a corporate sponsor or a donor of goods or services to Relay, thank you.

There are too many people for us to thank individually, even though we’d love to do that.

Please know that we sincerely appreciate the opportunity to Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back with each and every one of you.
