South Metro Atlanta pastors and church congregations are invited to join together at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 11, at New Hope Baptist Church’s South Campus, 1563 Ga. Hwy. 74 near Starr’s Mill, to participate in the Global Day of Prayer. May 11 is Pentecost Sunday, and millions of Christians around the world will gather in groups to pray for their communities and the nations where they live. This year, it is believed 200 million people in more than 200 nations will take part. Worship at the event will be led by Bill Drake of Operation Mobilization, an international mission agency with its U.S. headquarters in Tyrone. For more information, visit www.globaldayofprayer.com.
