Free benefit singing set for May 17 in Fayetteville
Spring Hill Elementary School in Fayetteville will host a free benefit singing on Thursday, May 17 at 6 p.m. featuring various local singers and music to please everyone — Southern gospel, contemporary, praise and worship. An offering will be taken and concessions will be sold. Proceeds will benefit the building fund for the Church of Life in Newnan.

OM offers 24/7 prayer meeting
Operation Mobilization is hosting its annual 24/7 prayer meeting in the worship center during the ten days between Ascension (May 1st) and Pentecost (May 11). All members of the community are invited to stop by and worship with others from the community. The worship center is open around the clock. OM headquarters is in Tyrone at the end of Lynwood Avenue, off Senoia Road.

PTCUMC’s grief support group starts tomorrow
Peachtree City United Methodist Church will offer its summer Grief Share grief support group beginning May 8 from 6:30-8 p.m. The group meets at the church, 225 Robinson Rd., room 308, every Thursday night for 14 weeks. Inman Youth plan yard sale Saturday
The youth at Inman United Methodist Church will have an Appalachian Garage Sale Saturday, May 10, beginning at 8 a.m., at the Youth House across the road from the church. Proceeds will be used for the summer Appalachian service project which involves repairing homes in Tennessee.
