Mr. and Mrs. Rickey Farrill of Tyrone, and Wayne Cook of Stone Mountain announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Jenna Cook, to Ryan Anthony Petrello, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Petrello of Sharpsburg.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Bill Cook of Fairburn, Ms. Barbara Browning of Newnan and Deral Browning of Rabun Gap. She is a graduate of Arlington Christian School and The University of West Georgia where she earned a degree in early childhood education. She currently is employed by Lambert Pharmacy.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Ms. Betty Burl of Sharpsburg and Ms. Frances Petrello of Waldorf, Md. He is a graduate of Northgate High School and The University of West Georgia where he earned a degree in computer science. He currently is employed by ShootQ.com.

A garden wedding is planned for May 2008 at Meadowlark Gardens in Griffin.
