Starr’s Mill’s boys tennis team got past McIntosh last week 3-2 to place themselves in the AAAA semi-finals. Ignacio Donnet and Alex Ford were singles winners for the Panthers, as was the doubles team of Alex Seath and John Flowers.

Starr’s Mill’s boys will take on the winner of Heritage and Marist on Saturday at Clayton County International Park.

McIntosh’s Lady Chiefs upset the region champion and defending state champion Starr’s Mill Panthers 3-2 to advance to the AAAA semi-finals. Winners for the Lady Chiefs were singles player Marybeth Black and the doubles teams of Stephanie Halpern and Kelsey Paone and Kali Cuny and Whitney Plummer.

The Lady Chiefs will face Marist on Saturday at 9 a.m.
