Cecelia H. Harris, 87. Newnan, died April 9, 2008. She was born Oct. 15, 1920 in Turin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud Berry and Fannie Lou Hill, her husband, Willie Harris, whom she married in 1944, a brother, Grant Hill, a grandson, Steve D. Hines, and step-mother, Idella Strickland Hill. She joined the China Grove Baptist Church at an early age, and then the Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Services were at the Zion Hill Baptist Church with interment at Eastview Cemetery, Newnan. Survivors include a son, Rod Taylor Harris, Newnan; daughters, Mildred Hines Amey, Senoia, Barbara Jean Smith and Felicia Darlene Harris, both of Newnan; adopted sons, Anthony Byrd and family, Roswell, and James Ware and family, Newnan; a stepsister, Mable Rivers, East Point; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
