The boys and girls tennis teams from McIntosh and Starr’s Mill High School played their games in the second round of the AAAA state playoffs on Wednesday and won. The wins put the county rivals face to face on the courts of the Peachtree City Tennis Center next Tuesday afternoon with a spot in the AAAA final four next Saturday.

The McIntosh boys defeated Ware County 4-1 in the second round, while Starr’s Mill’s boys edged out Greenbrier 3-2. The Lady Chiefs blanked Lakeside, Evans 3-0, while the Lady Panthers shut out Thomas County Central 5-0.

The times of next Tuesday’s matches have yet to be announced.
