Jazzercise classes move to new location

Jazzercise dance-fitness classes formerly held at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church have moved to the Fayette Center – 692 N.Glynn Street.

You can check the class times by accessing their website at www.jazzercise.com and then choose Jazzercise of Fayetteville.

The 60-minute Jazzercise class includes a warm-up, high-energy aerobic routines, muscle-toning and cool-down stretch segment. Jazzercise combines elements of dance, resistance training, kickboxing and more to create programs for people of every age and fitness level. Alternative formats include Jazzercise Lite, Jazzercise Body Sculpting, Jazzercise Step, Jazzercise Plus, Jazzercise Circuit Training, Jazzercise Personal Touch and Junior Jazzercise.

Judi Sheppard Missett, who turned her love of jazz dance into a worldwide dance exercise phenomenon, founded the Jazzercise dance fitness program in 1969.
