Local swim club competes at first meet of the season

The Southern Crescent Aquatic Team competed at the Spring Spectacular April 26-27 at the Augusta Aquatic Center. This was the first long course meet of the season for the team. Swimmers that scored points for the team were Kristen Bates, Missy Beall, Kristen Bohrer, Sydney Cartwright, Sydney Currenti, Alexandra Curtis, Ariane Leblond, Kiersten Mossburg, Morgan Presley, and Jamie Wright. The next meet for the Southern Crescent Aquatic Team will be held May 3rd at the Kedron Aquatic Center in Peachtree City.

In related news, Peachtree City’s local summer swim team, The Pirates, will be holding registration on May 20 and 21 at the Kedron Aquatic Center from 5-6 p.m. For more information please visit www.scatswimming.org or call 678-521-9450.
