Oil Price

is the thing it appears that causes food inflation, gas inflation, clothing inflation, and scores of other needed things.
Today, I heard the prediction of $250-350 a barrel oil price within the near future.
If that happens there will be more than truckers circling the white house in Washington!
Can any of you convert that oil price to the cost of gas, food, clothing, housing, heating and A/C, and of course the wars we will fight over the oil?
Although I only drive about 5,000 miles per year, I may still have to junk my V-8 vehicle.
Has anyone heard lately the statement that even if we had more crude oil we don't have any more refinery capacity? Could we contract that out to China maybe?
Aren't the oil companies building more refinery capacity with their current windfalls? Why not?
I know, just want to see if you do!
Our reactionary government instead of innovative government will never figure out how to keep the USA solvent.
We simply don't care anymore how our grandkids will manage---we won't be effected.
Guess we could discuss the nine trillion dollar debt in relation to some solutions, but why--no one cares!
The real problem however is this: whenever an animal is backed into a corner he will attack with all he has to survive. We do have enough atomic bombs to release on nearly everyone if we get into the corner too far. We would never negotiate away our rights--even at that cost.
Let's don't wait that long to solve the problem.
