Immediate Care Centers of Georgia, the first urgent care center of its kind in the area, will host its grand opening this weekend in the Market Hill Office Park in Tyrone.

Immediate Care Centers of Georgia will offer the latest in advanced healthcare technology and personalized medical attention, led by family practice provider Dr. Ray Bennett and emergency medicine practitioner Dr. Glenn B. McKenna. Services include: x-rays; lacerations, strains and fracture treatment; flu shots; school physical exams; cough and cold; lab tests and drug screens. Located at 190 Greencastle Road in Tyrone, the Center will be open Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 8:00pm and Saturdays 10:00am to 6:00pm.

“We are so excited to offer quality medical care without big hospital intervention and bureaucracy to the people of Tyrone, Peachtree City and all of Fayette County,” said Dr. McKenna about opening the center in the south metro area. “We know personally how frustrating long waits in an emergency room can be and wanted to offer a practical alternative”.

The opening of Immediate Care Centers of Georgia is the realized vision of two metro Atlanta doctors, Ray B. Bennett, M.D. and Glenn B. McKenna, M.D. The two wanted to offer an urgent care center that is the perfect blend of family medicine and emergency medicine coupled with the latest medical records technology and superior service.
