There is just no stopping Senoia. The Coweta County Commissioners April 17 approved an annexation request by the city on 36.91 acres originally submitted by Constantin Soulakos. The site on Ga. Highway 85 is zoned R-40 Conservation Subdivision and OI (Office Institutional).

Commissioners had no opposition to the request, voting unanimously to approve it.

The Senoia City Council approved Soulakos’ annexation March 17. City staff said the proposal included 4.27 acres on Hwy. 85 for Office Institutional and 32.65 acres for residential. Landscaping and architectural features of the OI portion of the property will be built in accordance with the requirement of the Highway 85 and Highway 16 Commercial Overlay.
