Madge Holmes, 88, Newnan, died April 10, 2008. She was born May 18, 1919 in Coweta County. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Pendleton and Nora Mayes Hood Holmes, and sisters, Margaret Keith, Wilnora Holmes, and Joyce Holmes. She was member of Newnan First United Methodist Church, and was an administrative assistant at the Georgia Department of Labor. Graveside services were at Oak Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Med Roach officiating. Survivors include a nephew, William F. Keith; and nieces, Susan Glover and Jane Decker.
