Vatican exhibit of miracles at OLM through Friday
The Vatican International Exhibit of the Eucharistic Miracles will be on display at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School through April 18 during the school day. The Vatican developed an exhibition that includes an extensive assortment of photographs and historical descriptions of miracles where the host has bled or a host has transformed into flesh and wine into blood. The Serra Club of Metro Atlanta has acquired a set of the exhibit panels and has made them available to Our Lady of Mercy to display. Our Lady of Mercy is at 861 E. Holyfield Hwy., Fairburn.

Youth Explosion Celebration planned
The Unity Christian Church will host a “Youth Explosion Celebration “Saturday, April 19, at 6 p.m. In addition to a gospel concert, the event will feature gospel poetry, gospel rap, gospel dancing and more. All ages are welcome to attend and all events are free. Food will be provided. The church is at 426 Rivers Rd., Fayetteville. Ebenezer UMC plans yard sale
Members of Ebenezer United Methodist Church will host a yard sale Saturday, April 19, beginning at 8 a.m. Lunch consisting of vegetable soup, collards, sweet potatoes and cornbread also will be available, followed by fried pies and cobbler for dessert. The church is at 680 Ebenezer Church Rd., between Peachtree City and Fayetteville.

Jessica McElveen walk scheduled for April 19
A four-mile benefit walk for Jessica McElveen, sponsored by Living Proof Church in conjunction with the American Cancer Society, will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, at Living Proof Church in Tyrone. Participants must be at least 12 years old. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and release forms along with donation forms, will be received between 9 and 9:45 a.m. Tee shirts will be available for purchase. The walk will begin and end at Living Proof Church.

Inman plans ceremony to bless the animals
Inman United Methodist Church will host its third annual Blessing of the Animals Saturday, April 26, from 1-2:30 p.m. Rain date will be the following week, May 3. Special recognition will be given those who use animals in the service of others. Special guests will include the Fayette County Humane Society, Noah’s Ark Wildlife and Rehabilitation Center and Children’s Home of Locust Grove. Local author to speak at Brooks UMW event
Tammy Melton, author of “Loving God with All Five Senses,” will be the guest speaker at the Brooks United Methodist Women’s Coffeehouse Friday, April 25, from 9-10 a.m. Fair Trade Coffee and refreshments will be served and music will be provided by Jacob Winslett. Clemmer to speak at CTK women’s event
The Women of Christ the King will host a women’s fellowship on Sunday, April 20 at 7 p.m. in the Christ the King Parish House near Sharpsburg. The featured speaker is Nancy Clemmer, wife of Fr. Ron Clemmer, pastor of St. Matthews Church in Hogansville. The Clemmers were foundational members at Christ the King prior to the mission church being planted in Hogansville in 2002. The meeting will offer coffee, dessert, and fellowship. Christ the King is on Ga. Hwy. 34 between Peachtree City and Newnan.

Antioch plans pancake breakfast
Antioch Community Baptist Church, 110 Brooks-Woolsey Rd., Fayetteville, will have a pancake breakfast Saturday, April 26, from 8-11:30 a.m. The cost will be $5 for adults and $3 for children under age 12. All proceeds will go to the children’s ministry.
