Mr. and Mrs. James C. Brewer of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Campbell Brewer, to Bobby Alton Barnette Jr. of Hapeville, son of the late Bobby Alton Barnette and the late Cathy Lowry.

The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2005 graduate of Kennesaw State University. She is employed as a registered nurse at Emory Crawford Long Hospital.

The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of the University of Georgia. He currently is employed with Market Grocery Company.

The wedding will be June 7, 2008 on Amelia Island.
