Janie Byrd Vickery, 93, East Point, died Dec. 31, 2005. She was born Aug. 26, 1912 in Fulton County. Services were at Carmichael-Hemperley chapel, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Ray Kuykendall officiating. Interment was Holly Hill, Fairburn. Survivors include daughters, Dorothy V. and Harold Pritchett, East Point; Patricia Baker, Fayetteville; brothers, Herschel Byrd, East Point, and Edward and Dorothy Byrd, Palmetto; grandchildren, Joe and Tammy Pritchett, Jeff and Lauren Pritchett, and Shelley and Jay Lunstead; and great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Kimberly, Kristen, and Michel Pritchett, and Jordan Lunstead. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
