The American Cancer Society would like to invite women cancer patients in the Fayette County area to participate in a wonderful program called Look Good Feel Better.

The program’s goal is to assist women currently undergoing cancer treatment such as chemotherapy and radiation in coping with appearance-related side effects of treatment and thereby regain a sense of self-confidence and control over their lives. Look Good Feel Better is FREE. The facilitators for this program are licensed cosmetologists, who volunteer their time and talents.

Look Good…Feel Better is a national service program sponsored by the American Cancer Society, the National Cosmetology Association, and the Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association Foundation.

Look Good Feel Better sessions are held at 301 Kelly Drive, Suite 3, Peachtree City, GA. Class size is limited, so registration is required.

To register for a LGFB session or for more information, please call Lisa Cockerham at the American Cancer Society at 770)631-0625.
