A woman shopping at the Flash Foods store on Ga. Highway 54 and Gingercake Thursday afternoon left the store after receiving unwanted comments and became the victim of a brief sexual assault in the parking lot.

The unidentified 25 year-old woman told officers she had been inside the store when she was approached by a man saying, “Hey beautiful, do you want to talk somewhere?” according to Fayetteville Police spokesperson Steve Crawshaw.

The woman put down the items she intended to purchase and left the store, Crawshaw said. The woman was walking through the parking lot when the man came up behind her, reached around her and grabbed her breast, said Crawshaw. The man asked, “What size are these?” Crawshaw said.

The victim said the man fled as another customer exited the store.

Crawshaw said the man was described as a chubby white male in his 20s or 30s, approximately 5’ 4” in height with blond hair.

Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to contact Fayetteville Police at (770) 461-4441.
