Mary Holmes McHugh, 81, Fayetteville, died Jan. 1, 2006. She was born April 19, 1924 in Fulton County. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Clarence Jett and the Rev. Wally Woodcock officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include a son, Jimmy and Sheryl McHugh, Monroe; a daughter, Darlene and Gene Morgan, Newnan; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Katie Pittman, McDonough. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
