Edward Hill, 66, Newnan, died March 28, 2008. He was born Feb. 13, 1942 in Coweta County. He was preceded in death by his parents, James R. and Lillie B. Hill, his wife, Annie Pearl Hill, who died eight years ago, and brothers, J. W. Hill, James L. Hill Jr., Milton Hill, and Roosevelt Hill. He was retired from the William L. Bonnell Company after 30 years of service, many of those in management. He was a loving and caring father and teacher, and a man of multiple talents.

Services were at St. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnnie T. Coleman officiating. Interment was at Eastview Cemetery. Survivors include sons, Clarence and Gwendolyn Davison, Larry and Mary Lois Blackman, Charlie Gates, Frederick Gates, and Delbert Hill; relative and caregiver, Willie Graham; a daughter, Gwendolyn and Myron Godfrey; siblings, Elvenia Arnold, Daisy M. Smith, Martha Jean Durrah, and Lewis Hill; grandchildren, Clinton, Scotty, Natalie, Tin, Latoya, Oasis, Trey Ciarra, Austin, and Paris; and seven great-grandchildren; and special friend, Cora Render.
