Eva E. Gardner, 73, Fayetteville, died Jan. 3, 2006. She was born Dec. 6, 1932 in Winder. She was a member of the Glazener Primitive Baptist Church. Services were at the New Pentecost Methodist Church, Winder, with interment at the church cemetery. Survivors include sons, Matthew S. Gardner, Concord, and Marvin Gardner, Tennessee; a daughter, Mary E. and Ronald Davenport, Hogansville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Tempie Porterfield, Athens, and Evelyn Day, Winder. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
