Great column! I am also very, very tired of not seeing our legislators. Our local delegation has a great deal to do with passing local legislation that heavily impacts Fayette County.

To not feel for a second that you do not have to serve your entire district just because you do not live within the county is unconscionable.

After I win this election July 15, I am going to press the Fayette delegation to have delegation hearings. I took part in one for Fulton County.

Fayette County legislators need to step up to the plate and do the same so Fayette County citizens can take physical note of who is not sitting at the table — as they should have this past [town hall meeting]!

Your Independent Democrat,

Connie Biemiller, Georgia House Candidate District 66

Fairburn (north Fayette County), Ga.
