David Otting, 49, Fayetteville, died April 3, 2008. He was born April 11, 1958 in Bartow County. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alene Baskin Otting. He was a graduate of Cartersville High School and owner-operator of Imagine That Salon, Inc. He loved his children and sacrificed greatly for them. He worked with the Boy Scouts and coached Little League Baseball. He enjoyed fishing, sunrises and sunsets. He was a licensed, certified Sea Captain and a certified barbecue judge traveling all over the nation.

Memorial services were at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Parnick Jennings and David Gayton officiating. Survivors include sons Ian and Miles Otting, Peachtree City; a daughter, Tiffany Otting, Cartersville; parents, Aaron and Elaine Otting, Cartersville; and sisters, Donna and Doug Cobb, and Kristy and Kelly Mathis, all of Cartersville, and Kim Burns, Atlanta. Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Cartersville, was in charge.
