Dr. Robert Blake and Ms. Pepe Bowman of Fayetteville announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Nicole Blake, to Naved Imran Mahmud, son of Dr. and Mrs. Mahmud of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Woodward Academy and a summa cum laude graduate of Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. She is a special education teacher in Houston, Texas.

The future groom is a magna cum laude Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Vanderbilt University and is currently pursuing his doctoral studies in astrophysics at Rice University.

The wedding will be April 19 in Monreat, N.C.

The couple will live in Houston, Texas.
