The Peachtree City Optimist Club awarded medals and prizes to this year’s essay contest winners at the annual Youth Appreciation Banquet. This year’s essay winners read their award winning essays, the theme of which was “Today’s Choices Shape My Future.”

Winners, pictured with Essay Chairperson Terry Ernst, included: 1st place winner Natalie Rye, J.C.Booth Middle School; 3rd place winner Hannah Mason, J.C. Booth Middle School; and 2nd place winner Leslie Sellers, J.C. Booth Middle School. There were 24 entries in this year’s contest. Photo/Special.
