Irene G. Pollard, Fayetteville, died March 30, 2008. She was born June 23, 1927 in Fayette County, daughter of the late G. W. and Ruth Irene King Greer. She was a member of Line Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Hi-Brand Foods in Peachtree City. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Bobby Carpenter and the Rev. Ralph Bobo officiating. Interment was at Line Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Peachtree City.

Survivors include children, Darrell and Jean Roberts, Fayetteville, Luther and Frances Roberts, Gainesville, Ga., and Tammy and Danny Goodman, Senoia; grandchildren, Jamie Roberts, Michael Roberts, Susan Woodard, Mark Roberts, Daniel Goodman, Toni Goodman, Barry Dupree and Deborah Denney; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joann.

Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
