Fayetteville Christian accepting items for annual yard sale in MayTue, 04/01/2008 - 3:02pm

Fayetteville Christian Church is now accepting items for its annual yard sale sponsored by the church’s Global Outreach Ministry planned for Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3 from 7:30 a.m. until noon. Proceeds will benefit mission trips. Donations will be accepted Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., and Wednesday evenings from 6-8 p.m. through April 23. Donations also will be accepted Saturday April 12 and 19 from 9 a.m. until noon. Heavy items will be accepted on Wednesday evenings and on April 12 and 19. If bringing items on April 2 or 3, call the church to make sure it will be open, 770-461-8763. Items to be collected include gently used baby clothes and baby care items, children’s toys and books, toddler, children’s and teen clothing in good condition, jewelry, books, household furnishings, linens, decorative items, kitchen items, small appliances, electronics and furniture in good, usable condition, exercise equipment, and sporting good items. The church will not accept adult clothes, curtain rods, blinds, stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, freezers or stereos. Any items that are broken or in bad repair will not make it to the sale.
