Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sneed of Peachtree City and Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Adams of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Bethany Christin Sneed, to Nicholas Michael Shannon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Shannon of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. Eunice Sneed and the late Thelma Sneed of Peachtree City, and Ruby Revis and the late Carl Revis of Dayton, Tenn. Step-grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. Johnny R. Pearson of Manchester and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Adams of Fayetteville. She is a graduate of Fayette County High School and currently is employed by Florida Telco Credit Union in Jacksonville, Fla.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Francis Shannon and the late James Jordan Shannon, Jr. of St. Simons Island, and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse R. Beck of Alpharetta, and the late Mary Eileen Beck of Alpharetta. He is a graduate of Fayette County High School and currently is employed by Countrywide Bank in Jacksonville, Fla.

A formal wedding is planned for Saturday, June 7, 2008, at The Atrium in Norcross. Following a honeymoon in Las Vegas, Nev., the couple will reside in Jacksonville, Fla.
