John "Jack" Edward Gray, 79, College Park, died March 22, 2008. He was preceded by his parents, Elmer T. and Alice Quinn Gray, and a brother, Tom Gray. Services were at the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hapeville, with the Rev. Father Ed Thein officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Lorraine Giblin Gray, College Park; children, Jim and Rebecca Gray, Fairburn, Ellen and Jack Murphy, Jonesboro, Joe and Michele Gray, Fischer, Ind., William and Daphne Sue Gray, and Tom and Bona Gray, and Mary and Cas Tuck, all of Fayetteville, Anne Marie and Ewell Sasser, Gainesville, Lorrie Gray, College Park, and Bobby and Amy Gray, Newnan; grandchildren, Bill and David Murphy, Jonesboro, Jack and Meghan Gray, Fischer, Ind., Olivia and Nick Gray, Will and John Gray, and Mitchell and Harris Tuck, all of Fayetteville, James and Grace Sasser, Gainesville, Abigail, Hannah, Ben, Gabriel and Jacob Gray, Newnan; and nieces, Marianne Kirwin, Westerville, Ohio, Mary Dianne Cahill, Cincinnati, Ohio, Margaret Guerrero, Tucson, Ariz., and Mary Patricia Penn, Cleveland, Ohio.
