Gene Cruse, 88, Tyrone, died March 30, 2008. He was born Aug. 10, 1919 in Carroll County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Davenport. He was the founder and former owner of the Cruse Inn Restaurant in Fairburn. He was a veteran of the United States Army in World War II. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with Minister Keith Davenport and the Rev. Ralph Bob officiating. Interment was at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn. Survivors include daughters, Paula Cruse, Fairburn, and Jane Cruse, Tyrone; and a grandson, Tyler Jones, Tyrone. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
