Bill and Lorraine Baldwin of Brooks recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a party hosted by their family.

The Baldwins were married Feb. 28, 1948, at the First Christian Church in Galesburg, Ill.

They have four children, Gary Baldwin (Eileen), Janice Baldwin-Johnson (Robert), Mark Baldwin and Michael Baldwin (Becky); seven grandchildren, Rebecca Cooper, Sarah Allington, Patrick Baldwin, Christopher Baldwin, Emily Johnson, William Baldwin and Michelle Baldwin; and two great-grandchildren, Natalie and Vanessa Cooper.

Mr. Baldwin is a retired pilot for Eastern Airlines. He and his wife have lived in Brooks since 1979. They both remain active in the Dixie Wing of the Commemorative Air Force in Peachtree City.
