Sue Baker Hill, 65, Tyrone, died March 18, 2008. She was preceded in death by her father, Julius Leon Baxter Sr., of College Park. She had served as the financial secretary for the College Park Baptist Church, the McDonough Road Baptist Church, and the First Baptist Church of East Point. She was an active member of Peachtree City United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed participating in the choir, hand bells, and Bible studies. A celebration of life was at Peachtree City United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Thomas B. Hill, Tyrone; a son, Michael R. Hill, Birmingham, Ala.; a daughter, Karen Hill Donahue, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Matthew M. Donahue, and Quinn O. Donahue, both of Peachtree City; her mother, Ruth Baxter, Fayetteville; brothers, Leon Baxter Jr., Jonesboro, and Steve Baxter, Fayetteville; and a sister, Leann Baxter Hall, Tyrone. Memorial donations may be made to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291, the Peachtree City United Methodist Church Building Fund, or the Pancreatic Cancer Network. Carmichael- Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
