The McIntosh Lady Chiefs dominated Fayette County 12-0 on Tuesday night, but the boys had a much closer game, winning 3-2 in penalty kicks.

Fayette County struck first with a goal from Chris Feigenbaum in the first half and almost had another one late from a header from Feigenbaum late in the half, but the goal was called back for offisdes. McIntosh tied the game with just over a minute remaining in the half on a direct kick from David Fratto.

The Chiefs pulled ahead in the second half and scored halfway through on a penalty kick from Hughston Taylor. Fayette County continued to play aggressive and broke through for a tying goal from Bobby Dodd with around seven minutes left.

The two teams remained deadlocked through two overtime periods and the game went to shootout. McIntosh got goals from Fratto, Ramsey Jarun and Brian Kwan and goalkeeper Michael White stopped all three Fayette County shots.

"Michael White's record in penalty kicks is unbelievable," said McIntosh coach Bunky Colvin. "If you stop three penalty kicks a season, you're doing something and White has stopped six in the span of a week."

The Chiefs, as defending state champions, are certainly getting everyone's A game this season and Colvin praised Fayette County for playing a terrific game.

Fayette County will host Sandy Creek tonight and McIntosh will take on Tucker on Friday.
