Comcast Channel 24, the official news source for Fayette County Schools, needs the community’s input for the development of future programming and expansion of the channel.

A short online survey has been developed to gather information about viewers’ viewing habits and preferences and enhancements they would like to see added to the channel. To access the survey, go to the Fayette County School System’s website, www.fcboe.org, and click on the survey link. The survey will be available March 14-April 4.

Operated by the school system’s public information department, Channel 24 features a combination of bulletin board announcements and video programming highlighting achievements of students and staff as well as information affecting the education of the county’s students. The channel is entering its fifth year of operation.

Now that the channel has established a following in the community, input is needed to help expand and develop future programming to better meet the needs of viewers.

Anyone who is a Comcast Cable subscriber automatically receives Channel 24. The channel provides an additional communications tool for getting information out to the school system’s stakeholders.
