Nicholas and Susan Cannarozzi of Spring Hill, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Lynn Cannarozzi, to Matthew David McClendon, son of David and Paula McClendon of Thompson’s Station, Tenn.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Maria Koszelowskyj of Oceanside, N.Y., and the late Myroslaw Koszelowskyj, and the late Theodore and Frances Cannarozzi. She will graduate in May 2008 from Tennessee Technological University with a degree in sociology and will continue her education for a masters in social work at the University of Cincinnati.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Tom and Sally McClendon of Fayetteville, the late Louise McClendon, and Peggy White, also of Fayetteville. He is the great grandson of Catherine Anderson of Jesup. He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a bachelor of business administration. He currently is employed as an account executive with Hormel Foods in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 27, 2008, at St. Philip Catholic Church in Franklin, Tenn. Following a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will reside in Cincinnati, Ohio.
