Edith Bernice Higgins, 86, Fayetteville, died March 12, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Higgins. She was a member of United Airlines Retiree Association, and a member of the First Christian Church of Tyrone. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Billy Rowe officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include a son, Carlton Wayne Higgins, Fayetteville; and a daughter, Deborah Higgins, Fayetteville. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
