Marie Schaefer Austin, Peachtree City, died March 11, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olin B. Austin. She was a member of Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. Memorial services were at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Weber, the Rev. Miriam Beecher, and the Rev. Pauline Pezzino officiating. Survivors include a son, John Paul Austin, Decatur; a daughter, Carol Ann and James R. Wright, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Calyn Wright, and Sean Wright, both of Peachtree City; a brother, Paul and Shirley Wells Schaefer, West Palm Beach, Fla.; and sisters-in-law, Gloria Schaefer, and Katherine Schaefer, both of Baltimore. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
