Winnifred "Wendy" Rowena Carter, Newnan, died Feb. 27, 2008. She was born Aug. 3, 1960. She joined the Newnan Chapel United Methodist Church at an early age, and later joined the St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church in Fairburn. Services were at Newnan Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include daughters, Lauren Michelle Carter and Ryan Elizabeth Carter; parents, Millard and Connie Partridge; a brother, Andrew and Keiko Partridge; sisters, Sandra P. Tutt and Gregory and Tammy Render; eight nephews; and two nieces.

Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
