Mary Ethel Stargell Bridges, 93, Senoia, died March 2, 2008. She was born Nov. 27, 1914 to the late Joiner and Lillie Jane Stargell. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jessie Bridges, and children, Jessie Bridges jr., Deborah Bridges, Mary Lizzie Wilkins, Woodrow Smith, Jessie Roger Smith, and Harold Bridges.

Services were at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Peachtree City. Survivors include children, Ethel Lee White, Lucille Carmichael, Mildred Ferrell, Emily Ferrell, Willene Bridges, Mary Ann and Leroy Hill, Bertha and Willie Jackson, Calvin and Corinne Bridges, Marvin and Sally Bridges, Charlie and Linda Smith, Hubert and Joyce Bridges; a sister, Virginia Shepard, sisters-in-law, Elenza Stargell, Mamie Lou, and Alene; 62 grandchildren; and 93 great-grandchildren.

Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
