Falcon Field's runway closed Wednesday and will remain so through Tuesday, March 25 as the runway and other areas are repaved.

Airport staff have posted signs at both airport entrance gates and used other avenues to notify airport tenants and users.

The hope is that if the weather cooperates the runway can be re-opened sooner than planned, airport officials said.

The airport serves corporate aircraft for a number of area businesses and industries in addition to smaller personal aircraft owned and operated by local residents.
