The extreme insult

Some of the Iraqi upper government is requesting that the UN take over the things we are now doing in Iraq.

Wonder whose original idea that was? Bremer?

Of course it would accomplish nothing, as expected, but would make a wonderful excuse for both sides.

The Shiites could assume power, we could leave, and many Mullahs could be appointed to reign locally. Of course we would still need to furnish the money.

Then the Muslim democracy would be installed, similar to Iran, and all would be well.

Mission Accomplished.
