Bonnie and Sid Myers of Fayetteville announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Emily Claire, to Brian Matthew LeRoy of New York, N.Y., son of Cheryl Toor of Williamson., N.Y. and Janice and David Leroy of Sodus, N.Y.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Cynthia and James Garrett of Warner Robins, the late Ruby and Calaway Corley of Macon, and the late Paul B. Myers of Macon. She is a 2004 graduate of Fayette Evening High School and is a graduate of the Georgia Academy of Technical Wellness, Milledgeville. She is a licensed, therapeutic massage therapist.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Myrle and Jim Oakley of Sodus, N.Y., Marilyn and John LeRoy, also of Sodus, N.Y., and Lee Harris and the late Jerry Harris of Great Falls, Mont. He is a 2004 cum laude graduate of Elmira College with a bachelor of science degree in business administration management and finance. He is employed by American Express as an analyst.

The wedding will be June 14, 2008, at the historic First Presbyterian Church of Milledgeville, with a reception at the home of the bride’s parents on Lake Sinclair.

A week-long honeymoon trip to Disney Resorts in Florida is planned.
